Going to: 내 계획

우리는 be going to를 계획이나 의도를 말할 때 사용해요. 이것은 지금 전에 이미 결정했다는 뜻이에요. 보통 tomorrow, next week 같은 미래 시간 표현과 함께 자주 써요.

I’m going to visit my friend tomorrow.나는 내일 친구를 방문할 거예요.

형태는 am / is / are + going to + 동사예요. to 뒤에 오는 동사는 기본형을 써요: go, study, have, meet.

부정문을 만들 때는 am / is / are 뒤에 not을 넣어요. 그러면 그 계획이 일어나지 않는다는 뜻이 돼요.

They aren’t going to have a meeting today.그들은 오늘 회의를 하지 않을 거예요.

질문할 때는 am / is / are를 주어 앞에 둬요. 대답은 Yes, I am. / No, I’m not.처럼 짧게 할 수 있어요.
