Three things. Tener, with its idioms (tengo hambre, tengo veinte años) and tener que for obligation. Ir, with a for the destination, en for the transport and ir a + infinitive for plans. And the stem-changing verbs: e → ie (quiero, prefiero, empiezo), o → ue (puedo, duermo, vuelvo) and jugar with u → ue. The whole unit is in the tables below: check yourself, then go to the exercises.

Five constructions with an infinitive
