فِي السُّوقِ
هٰذَا سُوقٌ كَبِيرٌ وَقَدِيمٌ. الْكِتَابُ وَالدَّفْتَرُ هُنَا، وَالْقَلَمُ الْأَحْمَرُ وَالسَّاعَةُ الزَّرْقَاءُ هُنَاكَ.
الْبِنْتُ: مَا هٰذَا؟
الرَّجُلُ: هٰذَا دَفْتَرٌ أَخْضَرُ. هُوَ رَخِيصٌ وَمُفِيدٌ.
الْبِنْتُ: وَمَا هٰذِهِ؟
الرَّجُلُ: هٰذِهِ سَاعَةٌ جَدِيدَةٌ، وَهِيَ غَالِيَةٌ. وَذٰلِكَ الْكُرْسِيُّ الْبُنِّيُّ غَالٍ.
الْبِنْتُ: أَيُّ كِتَابٍ سَهْلٌ؟
الرَّجُلُ: هٰذَا الْكِتَابُ الصَّغِيرُ سَهْلٌ، وَذٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ الْكَبِيرُ صَعْبٌ.
الْبِنْتُ: لِمَنْ تِلْكَ الْحَقِيبَةُ السَّوْدَاءُ؟
الرَّجُلُ: الْحَقِيبَةُ لِامْرَأَةٍ مِنْ مِصْرَ.
فِي الشَّارِعِ
الشَّارِعُ طَوِيلٌ. ذٰلِكَ مَبْنًى أَبْيَضُ، وَالْمَبْنَى جَمِيلٌ وَجَدِيدٌ. الْبَيْتُ قَرِيبٌ، وَالسُّوقُ بَعِيدٌ.
الْوَلَدُ قَصِيرٌ، وَالرَّجُلُ طَوِيلٌ. السَّيَّارَةُ الْحَمْرَاءُ هُنَا، وَالسَّيَّارَةُ الْبَيْضَاءُ هُنَاكَ.
الْبَابُ أَصْفَرُ، وَالنَّافِذَةُ زَرْقَاءُ، وَالْقَلَمُ الْأَزْرَقُ فِي الْحَقِيبَةِ.
الصُّورَةُ عَلَى الطَّاوِلَةِ.
الْبِنْتُ: مَا لَوْنُ الْكَلْبِ؟
الْوَلَدُ: الْكَلْبُ رَمَادِيٌّ، وَاللَّيْلُ أَسْوَدُ!
