How it works

  1. Pair up

Send your partner an invite. Each of you learns the other's language, and you both see the progress.

  2. Five minutes a day

Lessons take you from your first words to talking with your partner's parents: courses from A0 to C2.

  3. Play together

Word duels and word races built from the words you share turn practice into a date. The games come with Premium.

  4. Talk with the family

The live translator turns speech into text and a translation both ways, so at a family dinner you are part of the conversation.

Questions couples ask

Can we learn each other's languages at the same time?
Yes. Each partner picks their own language to learn, so a couple can learn each other's languages side by side, and any pairing of the 10 languages works.
Which languages can I learn?
English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Vietnamese, Japanese and Korean. The app itself also works in each of them.
Do we both have to pay?
No. Levels A0 and A1 of every course, pairing and 10 minutes of the translator a day are free. One Premium subscription covers both partners on every device.
My partner doesn't want to learn yet. Can I use it alone?
Yes. Lessons, the vocabulary trainer, reading and the translator all work solo, and the games can be played against Robo. Invite your partner when they are ready.
