يَوْمِي وَأُسْبُوعِي
أَنَا أَحْمَدُ، طَالِبٌ فِي الْجَامِعَةِ. أَسْكُنُ مَعَ أُسْرَتِي فِي الْقَاهِرَةِ. عَلَى بَابِ غُرْفَتِي جَدْوَلٌ.
عَادَةً أَسْتَيْقِظُ فِي السَّاعَةِ السَّادِسَةِ. أَغْسِلُ وَجْهِي، ثُمَّ أَلْبَسُ. قَبْلَ الْفُطُورِ صَلَاةُ الصُّبْحِ. آكُلُ الْخُبْزَ، وَدَائِمًا أَشْرَبُ الشَّايَ، وَلَا أَشْرَبُ الْقَهْوَةَ أَبَدًا. بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ أَخْرُجُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ.
أَذْهَبُ إِلَى الْجَامِعَةِ بِالْمِتْرُو. هُنَاكَ أَدْرُسُ وَأَكْتُبُ وَأَقْرَأُ. أَحْيَانًا لَا أَفْهَمُ الدَّرْسَ. ظُهْرًا نَجْلِسُ أَنَا وَصَدِيقِي سَمِيرٌ فِي الْمَقْهَى. سَمِيرٌ يَعْمَلُ مَسَاءً فِي مَطْعَمٍ. نَادِرًا آكُلُ فِي الْمَطْعَمِ، وَغَالِبًا آكُلُ فِي الْبَيْتِ.
أَرْجِعُ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ فِي السَّاعَةِ الْخَامِسَةِ. مَسَاءً أَكْتُبُ الْوَاجِبَ، وَأَخِي الصَّغِيرُ يَلْعَبُ. لَيْلًا أَقْرَأُ كِتَابًا، ثُمَّ أَنَامُ. هٰذَا يَوْمِي كُلَّ يَوْمٍ!
نِهَايَةُ الْأُسْبُوعِ: مَسَاءَ الْخَمِيسِ عُطْلَةٌ، وَيَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ لَا نَعْمَلُ وَلَا نَدْرُسُ. يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ زِيَارَةٌ لِجَدِّي وَجَدَّتِي. يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ عِنْدِي مَوْعِدٌ مَعَ الطَّبِيبِ.
جَدَّتِي: مَاذَا تَدْرُسُونَ فِي الْجَامِعَةِ يَا أَحْمَدُ؟ أَنْتُمْ هُنَاكَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ؟
أَنَا: نَحْنُ نَدْرُسُ الْعَرَبِيَّةَ. أَصْدِقَائِي هُمْ هُنَاكَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ، وَأَنَا لَا أَدْرُسُ يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ.
جَدَّتِي: وَمَتَى الْعُطْلَةُ؟
أَنَا: بَعْدَ أُسْبُوعٍ!
جَدَّتِي: أَعْرِفُ، أَعْرِفُ!
