LinguaAlphabet and spelling
English has 26 letters. When you spell a name, you say the letter names, not the sounds in the word. Some letters are surprising: H, J, G, W, and Y can sound different from what learners expect.

Greetings and goodbyes
Use Hello or Hi to greet someone. Good morning, Good afternoon, and Good evening are time greetings. For goodbyes, Bye is casual, Goodbye is more formal, and See you is friendly when you expect to meet again.

Use I am to talk about yourself and you are to talk to another person. In everyday English, we often use contractions: I'm and you're. You can use these forms for your name and for feelings.
