Three things you can count now
This unit gave you the numbers up to one hundred, the clock and the calendar. They rest on the same small set of words, so this checkpoint puts the three systems side by side: how a number is built, how an hour is said, and which little word goes before a day, a date or a month.
| Range | How it is built | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 0–15 | one word each, learned by heart | quince |
| 16–29 | one glued word: dieci- / veinti- + unit | veintidós |
| 30–99 | tens + y + unit, three words | treinta y dos |
| 100 | cien, on its own | cien años |
