LinguaGiorni, mesi e date
I giorni della settimana si usano per giorni precisi: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Si parla spesso anche di today, tomorrow e yesterday. Con i giorni usa on.
I have English class on Tuesday.Martedì ho lezione di inglese.

I mesi si usano per un periodo più lungo: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December. Con i mesi usa in. Si usa in anche con le stagioni: spring, summer, autumn, winter.

Per le date l’inglese usa i numeri ordinali: first, second, third, fourth, fifth e così via. Si dice: the first of May, the tenth of June, the twenty-third of September. Nello scritto si abbreviano spesso in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th.
Her birthday is on the third of March.Il suo compleanno è il tre marzo.
