わたしの家族

このレッスンでは、基本的な 家族のメンバー を表す言葉を学びます。これらの言葉は、母、父、姉妹、兄弟など、家族の人について話すときに使います。また、兄弟姉妹についてかんたんな質問をしたり答えたりする言い方も学びます。

This is my sister.こちらは私の姉／妹です。

My uncle is my father's brother.私の叔父／伯父は、私の父の兄弟です。

my を使うと、家族について話せます。たとえば my mother, my brother, my grandparents のように言います。また、this is を使って、1人の人を見せたり紹介したりできます。2人のときは、よく these are と言います。

These are my grandparents.こちらは私の祖父母です。

This is my aunt, Anna.こちらは私の叔母のアンナです。

family tree は、家族の中の人と、そのつながりを表します。She is my mother's sister や He is my cousin のようなかんたんな文で家族関係を説明できます。これで、それぞれの人が誰なのかを伝えやすくなります。

Tom is my cousin.トムは私のいとこです。

Sara is my father's sister.サラは私の父の姉妹です。

兄弟や姉妹の人数をたずねるときは、How many ... have you got? を使います。これは家族について聞くときによく使う言い方です。答えるときは、I've got one brother や I've got two sisters のように数字を使います。
