LinguaSix letters, and four that look alike
m n o p q r are the middle of the alphabet, and they hide the trap of English handwriting: b d p q are one shape – a circle and a line – turned four ways. The circle can be left or right of the line, and the line can go up or down. Get that shape right and four letters come free.
M is four strokes down, up, down; n is one arch and m is two. Count the legs: n has two, m has three.
O is one round stroke, both big and small. P is the line down with one belly at the top; p is the same, with the line hanging below.
Q is an O with a tail crossing it. R is P with a leg. Small q is the round part with a straight line down its right side, hanging below the line.
