Likes, plans and the past: a last look
Piace goes with one thing or a verb, piacciono with two or more things; the person comes first: mi, ti, a Marco. Volere, potere and dovere carry an infinitive: vuoi venire?, non posso, devo lavorare. The past is avere + participle (ho mangiato, ho dormito, ho fatto, ho visto, ho letto, ho preso), except sono andato / sono andata.
