LinguaI numeri da 0 a 100
In questa lezione impari i numeri cardinali da 0 a 100. Si usano per dire l’età, contare le cose e dare un numero di telefono. Impari anche la differenza importante tra i numeri in -teen e i numeri in -ty.

Dopo il 20, di solito i numeri si formano con decine + unità. Per esempio, 21 è twenty-one e 47 è forty-seven. Quando parli, pronuncia chiaramente tutte e due le parti.

Teen e ty
I numeri in -teen vanno da 13 a 19, come thirteen e sixteen. I numeri in -ty sono 20, 30, 40, 50 e così via, come twenty e sixty. Questa differenza è molto importante perché thirteen e thirty all’orecchio si somigliano.

L’età e i numeri di telefono
I numeri si usano per parlare dell’età: I'm twenty-five years old o semplicemente I'm twenty-five. Per i numeri di telefono, di solito si dicono le cifre una per una: 5-8-2 diventa five eight two.
I'm twenty-five years old.Ho venticinque anni.
My phone number is six one four, eight two zero, nine three one five.Il mio numero di telefono è sei uno quattro, otto due zero, nove tre uno cinque.
La domanda How many
Usa How many + nome per chiedere una quantità di cose. Il nome è al plurale: How many books? o How many students? La risposta usa un numero: Ten oppure I have ten books.
