Today is Sunday. The date is 3 January. Yesterday: Saturday. Tomorrow is Monday, 4 January: my birthday! I'm thirteen years old tomorrow. My sister is twenty-five. Our trip to the science museum is a birthday present.
On our tickets: “Monday. 9 a.m.”
“What time is the bus?”
“Eight o'clock. At half past seven, breakfast. At quarter to eight, the bus stop.”
The museum has one hundred small robots and thirty big robots.
“How many big robots?”
“Thirty, not thirteen!”
On the phone with the ticket desk:
“How much is it?”
“The price is forty euros for two adults. Fifty euros for a family.”
“And a child?”
“Ten euros.”
A sign: “One euro = one hundred cents”. Another sign: “A robot can count to a thousand!” There is a toy dollar on the robot's hand. The robot counts: “Zero, one, two...”
The museum café is open in the morning and afternoon. Our lunch is at quarter past one, 1:15 p.m. The museum closes at five o'clock in the evening. At night, it is closed.
A poster: “Spring exhibition: March. Summer exhibition: August.”
“Another trip this year?” my sister asks.
“Yes, in August!”
The museum phone number is 200 55 30. The guide says: “Two, oh, oh, double five, three, zero.” My sister writes it down. Tomorrow: robots!
