You can now count from không to chín mươi chín, say hundreds and thousands with trăm and nghìn, ask for a quantity with mấy or bao nhiêu, and give anybody's age with tuổi. What is left is the part learners really get wrong: knowing exactly where a number changes its shape.

mấy or bao nhiêu?
Choose by the size of the answer you expect. A small child's age, a floor, a handful of things – mấy. A price, a phone number, an adult's age, anything you cannot guess – bao nhiêu. Both stand exactly where the number itself would stand, so the word order of the question is the word order of the answer.
Age in one line
Person, number, tuổi – and that is the whole sentence, with no verb anywhere: Anh Nam ba mươi mốt tuổi. The question is the same line with the question word in the number's place, plus ạ when you are speaking to someone older: Chị bao nhiêu tuổi ạ?
