오늘은 토요일이에요. 지수는 집에 있어요. 친구 안나도 지수의 집에 있어요. 두 사람은 시간이 있어요.
“가족이 몇 명이에요?” 안나가 물어요.
“같이 사는 가족은 다섯 명이에요. 아버지, 어머니, 언니, 남동생, 그리고 저예요.”
“동생이 있어요?”
“네. 남동생은 열 살이에요. 오빠는 없어요.”
지수는 가족사진을 보여 줘요.
“부모님은 사진 가운데에 있어요. 아버지 옆에는 할아버지가 계세요. 어머니 옆에는 할머니가 계세요.”
“언니는 어디에 있어요?”
“제 뒤에 있어요. 남동생은 제 앞에 있어요.”
사진 아래에 작은 글씨가 있어요. ‘우리 가족, 여름’.
“남동생은 지금 어디에 있어요?”
“공원에 있어요. 친구 준호도 거기에 있어요. 두 사람은 동생 이야기를 자주 해요.”
지수는 남동생의 말을 따라 해요.
“저는 형이 없어요. 누나가 두 명 있어요.”
안나는 웃어요. “남동생에게는 지수 씨와 언니가 두 누나네요.”
“네. 맞아요.”
“지금 집에 누가 있어요?”
“어머니와 언니가 있어요. 아버지는 회사에 있어요. 할아버지와 할머니는 가까운 다른 집에 계세요.”
안나는 자기 사진도 보여 줘요.
“이분은 제 이모예요. 이모의 남편은 도서관에 있어요. 이모는 카페에 있어요.”
“남편과 아내가 오늘은 다른 곳에 있네요.”
“네. 아들과 딸은 영화관에 있어요.”
지수가 책상 위를 봐요.
“돈은 있는데 지갑이 없어요. 어디에 있어요?”
“의자 아래에 있어요. 가방 옆이에요.”
“아, 여기 있어요. 열쇠는 가방 안에 있어요.”
창문 밖에는 고양이가 있어요. 고양이는 나무와 벤치 사이에 있어요.
“집에 우유가 없어요. 마트에 같이 가요.”
“마트는 어디에 있어요?”
“은행 옆에 있어요. 서점은 은행과 마트 사이가 아니에요. 학교 앞에 있어요.”
두 사람은 가방을 들고 나가요. 시간이 있어서 서점에도 가요.
