Yuki’s first day in Lyon

Je m’appelle Yuki et je viens du Japon. Aujourd’hui, c’est mon premier jour à Lyon. J’habite dans le quartier de la gare, dans un immeuble de cinq étages. La boulangerie est à côté de l’immeuble, et la pharmacie est en face. Le centre-ville est à quinze minutes à pied, mais mon bureau est loin de l’appartement, en banlieue.

Le matin, je regarde le quartier. Sur la place, il y a le marché et une petite église. La mairie est derrière l’église, et la poste est à côté de la mairie. À droite de la place, il y a le cinéma et le restaurant ; la banque est entre le cinéma et le restaurant. Le supermarché est dans la rue de la Gare, à gauche.

Mais où est la gare ? Une femme est devant la boulangerie, avec un petit chien. – Pardon, madame, pour aller à la gare, s’il vous plaît ? – Continuez tout droit et prenez la première rue à droite. Tournez à gauche devant le cinéma : la gare est derrière le pont, à dix minutes à pied. – Et le bus, il est où ? – L’arrêt de bus est devant l’église, à gauche du marché. Le métro est sous la place. Vous venez d’où ? – Je viens du Japon. Je suis nouvelle dans le quartier. – Moi, je viens des États-Unis, mais j’habite ici, dans l’immeuble en face de la poste. Bonne journée !

À la gare, je prends un ticket pour samedi : mes parents vont venir du Japon, et je vais prendre le train pour aller à l’aéroport. Ils vont dormir dans un petit hôtel près de la gare. – Pardon, monsieur, pour aller aux toilettes ? – Continuez tout droit, elles sont à droite, à côté du café.

Tous les jours, je vais au bureau en métro et en bus : je prends le métro sous la place, et le bus 7 devant la mairie. C’est quarante minutes ! Le soir, je viens du bureau en métro, et je vais au supermarché.

Le week-end, je ne prends pas le métro. Je vais au marché à vélo, et au cinéma à pied. Le dimanche, mes amis du bureau viennent à la maison, et nous mangeons au restaurant, sur la place. Le soir, le pont est très joli !
