Vado, vengo, faccio: irregular verbs I

Six everyday verbs that break the rules

The verbs you use most are irregular, so learn them as tables. Andare (to go) changes its stem: vado, vai, va, vanno, but andiamo, andate. Venire (to come) has a g in io and loro: vengo, vengono. Fare (to do, to make) is short: faccio, fai, fa, facciamo, fate, fanno. Noi always ends in -iamo, even here.
