Samstagmorgen in Frankfurt. Aylin will ihre Freundin Paula besuchen. Paula wohnt seit einem Jahr in einer kleinen Stadt am Neckar. Zuerst fährt Aylin mit der U-Bahn zum Bahnhof. Dort gibt es viele Automaten, aber Aylin geht lieber zum Schalter.

– Guten Morgen! Eine Fahrkarte nach Heidelberg, bitte. – Einfach oder hin und zurück? – Hin und zurück, bitte. Ich komme am Sonntag zurück. – Das macht achtunddreißig Euro. Sie müssen in Mannheim umsteigen.

Jetzt hat Aylin ihr Ticket. Sie sieht auf den Fahrplan: Ihr Zug soll um 9:12 von Gleis 9 abfahren und um 10:05 in Mannheim ankommen. Aber heute ist er nicht pünktlich. Er hat fünfzehn Minuten Verspätung. Aylin wartet und trinkt einen Kaffee.

In Mannheim muss sie schnell umsteigen. Die S-Bahn steht schon auf dem Gleis gegenüber. Dann bekommt sie eine Nachricht von Paula: „Tut mir leid, ich kann nicht zum Bahnhof kommen, ich muss noch arbeiten. Nimm die Straßenbahn bis zur Haltestelle ‚Stadtpark‘. Von dort sind es zu Fuß nur fünf Minuten.“

Vor dem Bahnhof in Heidelberg ist eine Haltestelle. Die Straßenbahn kommt sofort, und Aylin fährt bis zum Stadtpark. Jetzt braucht sie den Weg zur Lindenstraße. Sie fragt eine Frau:

– Entschuldigung, wie komme ich zur Lindenstraße? Ist das weit? – Nein, das ist ganz nah. Gehen Sie hier geradeaus bis zur Ampel. An der Kreuzung müssen Sie links abbiegen. Dann sehen Sie eine alte Kirche. Die Lindenstraße ist gleich gegenüber. – Vielen Dank!

Unterwegs sieht Aylin viel: An der Ecke gibt es eine Apotheke und eine Bank, und neben der Bank ist die Post. Am Platz vor dem Rathaus ist heute Markt.

Paula ist schon zu Hause. „Wie war die Fahrt?“, fragt sie. „Gut“, sagt Aylin, „nur der Zug war ein bisschen spät.“

Am Nachmittag machen die beiden einen Spaziergang. „Was gibt es hier in der Nähe?“, fragt Aylin. „Einen Park, ein Museum und zwei Kinos“, sagt Paula. „Das Museum ist heute leider geschlossen, aber wir können in den Park gehen.“ Sie gehen zu Fuß zum Park.

Am Abend wollen sie ins Kino. „Fahren wir mit dem Fahrrad oder mit dem Bus?“, fragt Paula. „Mit dem Bus“, sagt Aylin, „ich habe hier kein Fahrrad.“

Am Sonntag fährt Aylin mit dem Zug nach Frankfurt zurück. Den Weg zum Bahnhof kennt sie jetzt. Und heute ist der Zug pünktlich.
