Eu me chamo Júlia e moro há um mês num bairro novo de São Paulo, a Vila Mariana. Ainda não conheço bem o caminho para os lugares, então no sábado eu saio para conhecer tudo.
Primeiro, vou à padaria da esquina. Do lado da padaria tem uma farmácia e uma banca de jornal. O mercado fica no final da rua, e o correio fica longe, no centro. Mas o hospital fica bem perto, a dois quarteirões da minha casa.
Depois, quero ir à biblioteca. Pergunto a uma senhora:
– Com licença, onde fica a biblioteca?
– Siga em frente até o semáforo, atravesse na faixa de pedestres e vire à direita. Passe pelo parque, e a biblioteca fica em frente à estação de metrô.
– Obrigada!
É fácil. Vou a pé, e em dez minutos estou lá.
À tarde, vou ao shopping com a minha amiga Carol. Ela vem de Santo André de trem e depois pega o metrô. Na estação Sé, ela faz baldeação para a linha azul. Eu compro um bilhete, mas a Carol usa um cartão de transporte: ela encosta o cartão na catraca e pronto.
Para voltar, pegamos o ônibus no ponto de ônibus da avenida. Quando o ônibus chega, pergunto ao motorista:
– Esse ônibus passa pela Vila Mariana?
– Passa, sim. Pode subir.
Eu subo e pago ao cobrador, do lado da catraca. O ônibus está lotado, e a gente vai em pé. A Carol desce na estação do metrô, porque ela mora longe e volta de trem. Eu não desço no ponto final: desço antes, no ponto da minha rua.
À noite, converso com o meu vizinho, o Seu Antônio. Ele vai para o trabalho de moto, mas no domingo ele anda de bicicleta no parque. Quando é muito tarde, ele volta de táxi ou chama um carro no aplicativo. Ele me diz:
– O bairro é bom, Júlia. Tudo fica perto!
