A weekend at the table

Sabato mattina Luca e Anna fanno colazione al bar sotto casa. Prima pagano alla cassa e prendono lo scontrino, poi vanno al banco.
– Buongiorno! Per me un cappuccino e un cornetto, – dice Anna.
– Io vorrei un caffè e una spremuta d'arancia, per favore, – dice Luca.
Il barista mette il cappuccino in una tazza grande e la spremuta in un bicchiere. Anna chiede anche un bicchiere d'acqua. Al bar ci sono anche il tè, i succhi di frutta e i tramezzini, ma la mattina Luca e Anna preferiscono il cornetto.
Dopo la colazione vanno al mercato. Tra le bancarelle Anna compra la frutta e la verdura: un chilo di mele e mezzo chilo di pomodori. Poi vanno dal salumiere.
– Buongiorno, vorrei due etti di prosciutto e un etto di formaggio.
– Ecco a Lei. Altro?
– Una fetta di parmigiano e del pane, grazie.
– Altro?
– No, basta così.
Luca prende anche una bottiglia di vino per la sera.
A pranzo mangiano a casa, ma la sera vanno al ristorante con Giulia e Marco. Anna prenota un tavolo per quattro alle otto. Il cameriere porta il menù e Marco chiede:
– Che cosa ci consiglia?
– Come antipasto la bruschetta, come primo il risotto ai funghi. Per secondo oggi c'è il pesce, con un contorno di patate.
Giulia non mangia la carne, perciò prende il pesce. Marco dice: «Mi piace il pesce, ma stasera prendo la carne.» Alla fine tutti prendono il dolce: il tiramisù. Poi Luca chiede il conto. Con il coperto sono centoventi euro, e Marco lascia due euro di mancia.
Domenica Anna cucina per tutti. La ricetta è della nonna: spaghetti al pomodoro. Gli ingredienti sono semplici: la pasta, i pomodori, l'olio, il sale e un po' di basilico. Anna mette l'acqua in una pentola grande. Quando l'acqua bolle, aggiunge il sale e cuoce gli spaghetti per dieci minuti. Intanto Luca taglia i pomodori e li cuoce in padella.
– Quanto sale metto? – chiede Luca.
– Quanto basta! – risponde Anna.
Alla fine Anna scola la pasta, la versa nella padella e mescola bene. Che buona!
