LinguaMariana’s new flat

A Mariana vai trabalhar em São Paulo e precisa alugar um lugar para morar. Na internet, ela vê um anúncio: “Aluga-se apartamento mobiliado, dois quartos, uma vaga de garagem, perto do metrô. Aluguel: R$ 2.300. Condomínio: R$ 650.”
No sábado, ela visita o prédio com o dono, o seu Paulo. Na entrada, o porteiro abre o portão. O apartamento fica no sexto andar, e o elevador é novo.
– Esta é a sala – diz o seu Paulo. – É espaçosa e bem clara.
Na sala tem um sofá, uma estante e uma mesa com quatro cadeiras. Na parede, em cima do sofá, tem um quadro bonito, com flores amarelas.
– E esse quadro aí? Ele fica no apartamento? – pergunta a Mariana.
– Fica, sim. Os móveis e o quadro vão com o aluguel.
A cozinha é pequena, mas tem geladeira e fogão. Ao lado da cozinha fica a área de serviço, com a máquina de lavar. O banheiro fica entre os dois quartos. No quarto maior tem uma cama de casal e um armário grande.
– E aquela porta ali?
– É a varanda. Da varanda dá para ver o parque.
A Mariana gosta de tudo. A rua é silenciosa, e o prédio tem garagem para as visitas também.
– Quanto é a taxa do contrato? – ela pergunta.
– A imobiliária cobra uma taxa de trezentos reais. E precisa de um fiador.
– O meu pai pode ser o fiador. Ele mora lá em Belo Horizonte.
– Isso não é problema.
Na segunda, ela assina o contrato. A mudança é no fim do mês. O caminhão para na frente do prédio, e dois homens sobem com as caixas pelo elevador. O porteiro chega com uma planta:
– Isto aqui é para a senhora. Bem-vinda!
À noite, a Mariana liga para a mãe:
– Mãe, está tudo pronto! A minha cama já está no quarto, e os livros estão na estante.
– E o seu gato?
– Está embaixo da cama. Ele ainda não gosta da casa nova.
– E aquilo que a vovó mandou, o bolo de milho?
– Está dentro da geladeira. Amanhã eu como no café da manhã!
